Korah,Dathan, Abiram and other 250 people of Israel rose against Moses and Aaron due to envy. And God was angry about them and dealt with them. & their household. Spiritual growth is the process of replacing lies with truth. The Bible is God’s word that has that truth. It is written; Man shall live by every word of God: {Luke 4:4, Deut. 8:3, Matt. 4:4}.

When God speaks things change-everything-around us.
God’s word; Generates life, creates change, creates faith, frightens the devil, causes miracles, heals hurts, build character, transforms circumstance, impart joy, overcome temptation and enemies, releases power, cleanse our mind, sanctify us, infuse hope, brings things into being and secure our future.
And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to thy word (Numbers 14:20

To be healthy disciple of Jesus, always feed on God’s word; it must be our first priority. How:
1. Abide (accept its Authority) without doubt but Faith (Believe)
2. Assimilate its truth (fill your mind with it so that Holy Spirit can transform you with its truth).

Moses wrote, “Hear, O Israel: the LORD our God is one LORD: and you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might. And these words, which I command you this day, shall be in your heart: and you shall teach them diligently unto your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise up. And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And you shall write them upon the posts of your house, and on your gates” (Deut. 6:4-9)

(Joshua 1:8) – This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

 Serious reflection on God’s truth is a key to answered prayer and the secret of successful living
 Every miracle of God is repeatable, duplicable, if you meditate upon the word of God.

Generally, it requires handwork and commitment to abiding in God word. The best way; Always write out an action step as result of reading /studying/reflecting on God’s word. And the action step should;

 Provable (with deadline to do it)

Every application will involve either your relationship to God, others, and personal charater.

Our minds are renewed with the word of God in two ways;
• Feeding upon God’s Word in our private study & meditation – (ponder, speak, study, pray with your heart, imagined it day and night).
• Be taught by spirit-anointed teachers

N/B: ‘’Bible was given to change our lives only to be like Christ’. And was written by the inspiration of GOD. It has several Doors and Windows i.e. Chapters and Verses into the realm of the spirits. It serves as point of contact between God and its word.
You can’t love God unless you know him and you can’t know him without knowing his Word. God revealed himself to Samuel through his Word

God Honors His Word More Than He Honors His Name
Because His Name Rests On His Word. His Word Is His Integrity, Personality, Credibility, Power.

 Real Faith is Believing, Acting on God’s Word and then Expecting Miracle. Faith sees the object of prayer as already having been attained. It is seed planted by walking and saying – the word of God- BIBLE..

And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods. They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit (Underworld), and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation. And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.
 God the Holy-Spirit (Ghost)
The life giving power of God flows through those who pray and recite the verses of the king often.

Romans 8:14-16
14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba,Father.

16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is Liberty {2 cor. 3: 17}.

My spirit abides among you, fear not – (Hagg 2:5)
He wi I shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. (Matthew 3:11) But the Helper, comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid.

When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you. (John 16:13-14). when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, “Receive the Holy Spirit.”{John 20:22}
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you{Acts-1:8}. God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us {Rom. 5:5,}. Who has made us competent to be ministers of a new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life – {2 Cor.3:6}

Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts. {Zechariah 4:6}.

 All of our spiritual power comes from the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is Christ living within us. He offers us guidance and just the right words when we face various crises. He comforts us. He strengthens us. He administers the special gifts given us for ministry. It is through him that we live as new creations in Christ.

 On the day you began to believe in Jesus, his Spirit took residence within you. And he began the great work that will continue until you die or Christ returns to earth – the power of transforming you into the image of Christ.

How does it work?
 Soaking your hearts and minds in the living word of God (Meditation). There is no substitute whatsoever, no shortcut.

We need to immerse ourselves in the word of God until as much of it as possible is engraved on our hearts. The Holy Spirit within us reveals its truth. He interprets and he applies the message of God to our thoughts and our issues.
As we read or recite the bible verses, we sow them to the spirit and he begins to flow through our being, so that we feel the power and presence of God.

 A genuine ‘’ spiritual chemical reaction’’ takes place when we soak our hearts and minds in the scriptures and let the spirit flow freely through us. Life, health, power and hope surge through us like medicine from heaven itself.
But truly, I am full of power by the spirit of the lord (Micah 3:8).

 The Blood of the LAMB

Blood-Bought Promises for Our Situation Jesus Christ the Mediator of the New Covenant and his blood speaketh better things than the blood of Abel – (Heb. 12:24).
All things are purified with the blood of Jesus Christ and without shedding of blood there is no remission of sins {Heb.9:22,1 Tim. 1:15}
Without the blood we cannot be forgiven {2 peter 3:9, Ezekiel 3:11, psalm 103:12, 1 John 1:9}. Jesus paid the full price on the cross {Eph. 2:13, 10:19, 1 John 1:7}
The blood is applied by faith – the blood of Jesus has great POWER of : {Is. 1:18}
 Redemption,
 Sanctification,
 Reconciliation,
 Cleansing, purification
 Uniting us With GOD The Father,
 Victory Over Satan,
 Healing
 Forgiveness etc.
The pervasive focus of that sanctifying faith is faith in future grace, that is, faith in all that God promises to be for us in Jesus because of what he did for us on the cross. (For what I mean by “sanctifying faith,” see Acts 26:18, as well as 2 Corinthians 5:7 and Galatians 2:20, where the new life of the believer is lived “through faith” or “by faith.”).
In other words, the way we tap into the power of God for the miracle of sin-killing sanctification is by hearing a blood-bought promise of God for our situation, and by believing it, that is, by receiving it and embracing it as a treasure more precious than the pleasures of the temptation in front of us.In other words, as the Holy Spirit awakens and moves through that faith in God’s promise, the power of canceled sin is broken. It is dethroned. It loses its compelling force because, by the Spirit, faith embraces God’s promise as more satisfying.

For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive.
(1 Cor. 15:22) Resurrection Power Imparted Through Action, Not Talk-The kingdom of God is in power (1cor.4:20).
But now Christ is raised from the dead, and has become the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep.

(John 14:19)-Because I live say the lord, ye shall live also. (Proverb 24:16)-For a just man falleth seven times, and rises up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief.

Affliction shall not rise up the second time (Nahum 1:9). For the wicked shall no more pass through thee, they have completely cut off (Nahum 1:15). Thine hand shall be lifted up upon thou adversaries and all thine enemies shall be cut off (Micah 5:9). All the witchcrafts shall be cut off thine hand and thou shall have no more soothsayers (Micah 5:12)

• Resurrection Power Imparted Through “I Can” –
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13).
If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. (Luke 10:19).

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” (Mark 16:17-18)
• Resurrection Power is Given to Us – Through Trials & Suffering ( 2Corinthians 1:7, Philippians 3:8-11

• Victory Through Trials
The road to victory through the application of resurrection power does not lie in complete avoidance of problems (“in this world you will have tribulation”( John 16:33, 2Thess 1:4-10)
• Resurrection Power Imparted Through Grace
And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” For when I am weak, then I am strong. (2Corinthians 12:9-10, Joel 3:10)

• Resurrection Power Not Imparted Through “Thy Will Be Done”
But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come: For men will be lovers of themselves (“selfishness”)… having a form of godliness but denying its power… always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (2Timothy 2:2,5,7) Our focus must be on God’s Will, not on our will: He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.” (Matthew 26:39, Gal. 1:3-4)

• Resurrection Power Imparted Through Love
I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the saints, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God. (Eph. 3:17-19)

(Jonah 2:1-2,7) Then Jonah prayed unto the LORD his God out of the fish’s belly,2And said, I cried by reason of mine affliction unto the LORD, and he heard me; out of the belly of hell cried I, and thou heard my voice. 7When my soul fainted within me I remembered the LORD:

and my prayer came in unto thee, into thine holy temple.
(Jonah 3:5,9-10) 5So the people of Nineveh believed God, and proclaimed a fast, and put on sackcloth, from the greatest of them even to the least of them. 9Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger that we perish not?

10And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way; and God repented of the evil, that he had said that he would do unto them; and he did it not.
(Matthew 6:16-18) – If thou want to fast should do it in secret for God sees everything and will reward us accordingly.

There is unseen battle going on in a realm of the spirit that we do not even understand. Spiritual war in other dimensions between God & Satan, good & evil, Angels & demons. When we send our prayer up, there is often a battle over how it is going to be answered. While you are in the waiting room, Satan starts throwing darts at you; The dart of Doubt, Fear, Discouragement, Disappointment, Delay, Depression, Defeat, and Despair. In spiritual realm, there is always a blanket of darkness dense like solid rock.
Evil spirits, human satanic agents, demons, devil, Lucifer, and all his fallen angels usually operate within that average to block Christian’s prayers – (Spiritual Warfare).

“A delay is not a denial” when it occurs, it means God is fighting for you. Keep up praying’’.

1. Prayers that appear like smoke, drifts along and vanishes in the air. This type of prayers comes from people who have sin in their lives and that they are not willing to deal with. Their prayer are weak, they are blown away and disappear in the air.
2. Prayers like smoke. It rises upward until it reaches the rock; it can’t break through. Usually, it comes from people who try to purify themselves, but lack Faith as they pray.
3. Prayers Like Smoke Filled With Fire. As it rises upward, it is so hot that when it reaches the rock, the rock begins to melt like wax. It pierces the rock and go through. Here, there is an Open Heaven. Easy flow of prayers to the throne of grace and mercy of the supreme-being; GOD.

Tactics For Effective Prayers. Three secret weapons to used
1. Faith from the word of God. (Eph. 6:16) – Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.
2. Bible. (Eph.6:17) – And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:
3. Support from God’s people; Church – (Small Group).
(Eph.6:18) – Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. (Hebrews 10:25) – Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

True prayer is a communion with the supreme-being; Heavenly Father. It is a solemn act. (Eccl. 5:2) – Be not rash with thy mouth, and let not thine heart be hasty to utter anything before God: for God is in heaven, and thou upon earth: therefore let thy words be few.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. (Romans 10:4).

If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved (Romans 10:9)

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father.

God never responds to anything but faith. Your faith commits God to get involved in your situation to deliver your victory.
Faith connects you to the anointing, and the anointing will remove every burden and destroy every yoke – yokes of lack, sickness – nothing can withstand the anointing. You’ll begin to see the unseen reality – the heavenly reservoir of blessings that God has stored up for you.
Putting your faith into work converts your humanity into divinity to manifest God’s supernatural abilities.

Naaman, captain of the host of the king of Syrian- a leper- was asked to dipped himself (7times) in River Jordan by Prophet Elisha and after he had done it, his flesh came again like unto the flesh of a child and he was clean.
 Anointing Oil:
How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him. (Acts 10:38)

(1Samuel 16:13) – Samuel anointed David with Oil and the Spirit of the Lord was upon Him (1 Chronicles 16:22) – Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm. (Exodus 30:25-29) – ‘’God commanded Moses to anoint His Temple and everything therein with Holy anointing oil- whosoever touches it becomes Holy’’.
There are two main sorts of ‘anointing’:
• Spiritual Anointing with God’s Spirit and

Salvation is of the LORD.
Don’t let salvation remain a vague, distant outcome. Let it be the daily deliverances from sin. This is our salvation — salvation from sin. So daily produce salvation from sinning.

Act your deliverance. Act your victory. Act your dethroning and killing of sin. Act your deliverance from anger, resentment, fear of man, discouragement, self-pity, self-promotion, hardness, envy, moodiness, sulking, indifference to suffering, laziness, boredom, passiveness, lack of praising others, lack of joy in Jesus, and more.

All these need daily killing of sins.
(2Samuel 6:14-16) – King David brings back the ark of God from the house of Obededom with shouting, sound of trumpet, leaping and dancing before the Lord.
(Jonah 2:9) – But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD. Oh sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. (Psalms 98:1)
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you.

Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.Humble yourselves in the sight of Lord, and he will lift you up.

(James 4:7-8, 10). (2cor. 5:17) – new creature in Christ.

The ultimate goal of the universe is to show the glory of God.
And it signifies:
 The essence of His Nature
 The weight of His Importance
 The radiance of His Splendor
 The demonstration of His Power
 The atmosphere of His Presence.

We are commanded to Recognize, Honor, Declare, Praise, Reflect, and Live for his glory. Refusing to bring God glory is prideful rebellion and it is the sin that caused Satan’s fall and ours too. But thank God for Christ Salvation made us becomes Righteousness of God and our sins forgiven. God is in Christ and we are in Christ and He lives in us. If He is for us who will be against us.
(Acts 16:16, 18, 25-26;) Paul cast out spirit of divination from a girl in the name of Jesus Christ – immediately, it was so.( And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them. And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one’s bands were loosed.

The Bible says that God inhabits in the praises of His people (Psalms 22:3). In other words, God “dwells” in the atmosphere of His praise. This means that praise is not merely a reaction from coming into His presence –

Praise is a vehicle of faith which brings us into the presence and power of God! Praise and worship is the “gate-pass” which allows us to enter the sacredness of His glory. The psalmist writes, “Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name” (Psalms 100:4)

“I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth” (Psalms 34:1).

Praise is an expression of faith, and a declaration of victory! It declares that we believe God is with us and is in control of the outcome of all our circumstances (Romans 8:28).
Praise is a “sacrifice,” something that we offer to God sacrificially, not just because we feel like it, but because we believe in Him and wish to please Him. “Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, that is, the fruit of our lips, giving thanks to His name” (Hebrews 13:15).
 Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines, though the olive crop fails and the fields produce no food, though there are no sheep in the pen and no cattle in the stalls, yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior. (Habakkuk 3:17–18)

 Thanksgiving helps us put away foolish talk and coarse joking (Ephesians 5:4). Above all, rejoicing helps us see reality in eternal terms—filled with the goodness of God (1Timothy 4:4).

God responds to a grateful heart, and our gratitude overflows to God’s glory (2 Corinthians 4:15).

 Sacrifice/
Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross not only paid the penalty for our sins, but gave him power and authority over death, the devil & the entire earth: We get a purpose for living and we are promised a future in heaven – Jesus stretched his arms wide open on the cross‘’ saying I love you this much’’

God cancels our sins at the cross through faith alone, so that we can then conquer our sins by the Holy Spirit.

“He breaks the power of canceled sin”.
The cross cancels sins for all who believe on Jesus. Then on the basis of that cancellation of our sins, God breaks the power of our actual sinning “He cancels the guilt of conquered sins.” No, first the cancellation. Then the conquering.

Paul says in Romans 6:5, “We have been united with [Christ] in a death like his.” That’s how our sins were
Canceled. When Christ died, we died (2 Corinthains 5:14). He suffered the condemnation for our sins (Romans 8:3), and by union with him through faith, our sins are canceled.

They are already punished, condemned.
Now, dethrone it. Break the power of canceled sin. So the death of Christ in our place is always foundational for our defeat of sin.
(Heb. 10:10) I have been made holy through the sacrifice of the body of Christ Jesus once for all.
The Cross:
purifies us – (I John 1:9)
Cleanses our consciences – (Heb.9:14)
Saves us from the wrath of God – (Rom.5:9)
Cross the power of God to us who are being saved (1Cor.. 1:18)
Grants eternal life – (John.6:54)
Forgives our sins – (Jere.31:34)
Gave us Victory over Satan and all his works.

The basis for our conquering sin
Is always Christ’s canceling sin?.
So now we find ourselves loved by God, accepted, adopted into his family, forgiven for all our sins, and justified all because of Christ.

In this condition of profound security and assurance, the Bible says to us, Pursue “the holiness without which no one will see the Lord” (Hebrews 12:14).

We are imperfect people living in an imperfect and broken world and failures are all certain. Sometimes we experienced failure in marriages, career, relationships, financial, business etc. everybody is disabled in any of the above failures.
Two types of Biblical failures
1. Betrayer (Traitor) due to envy.

(2 Timothy 1:9) – God saved us, called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began.
Note: One major barrier from living a purposeful life is Envy/pride. It is a hidden sin.

10th commandment; thou shall not envy.
Envy/pride denies us our uniqueness, divides our attention (Matt.6:24, Luke 9:62), waste our time and energy – (Eccl.6:4) and leads to every other sins – (James 3:16). Envy is an insult to God. It is an act of comparing, idolater (1Cor.10:7), low self-esteem.
Causes of Personal Failures
 Overestimate of our strength (over confidence) – 1Cor.10:12, Matthew 26:69-75
 Fear of disapproval of others, fear of rejection – 2Timothy 1:7-9
Swearing during failure is a sign of weakness, fear, shame, coward, frustration, deserted, depression (1Cor.13:6-7, James 3:5-6,8,10,18)
(2Timothy 1:7) – for God hath not given us the spirit of fear but of Power, Love & Sound Mind. (1 John 4:18) – My perfect love will banish fear from your heart.
 Acting without thinking/talking without thinking – Proverbs 25:28.

Principles To Recover From Failures
o Grieve (weep bitterly) – feel the pain, learn the lesson, push forward, forget the past and accept the mercy and grace of God. Accepting the mercy of God is a key to your Healing & Recovering – (Matthew 26:75, psalms 51, 1 peter 1:3-25, 5:6-8)
o Manage your emotions
o Do not isolate yourself. You need the support of a small group, your loved ones, family, spouse (John 20:19)
o Cast all your anxiety upon God, for he cares for you – ( 1 Peter 5:7)

 He prays for us (Intercession) – Heb.7:25
 He believes in us -(2Timoth2:13,Proverbs 24: 16)
 He shows us mercy (John 21)

My GOD and My MAKER, full of mercy and grace I ask for your love that overflow through your begotten son Jesus Christ my savior.
In the name of Jesus and by the blood of the Lamb, Change my mindset of the things of this broken world, fill me with your Holy Spirit that will teach me more of your infinite love, kindness, saving power and glory in all things.

Heavenly father,

A Divine Miracle in Us
Until that day, we are in the grand process called sanctification, or glorification, or becoming holy as God is holy.
He works the miracle of sanctification; you act the miracle. He produces it; you perform it.
If you don’t use your will to act the miracle, there is no miracle. God’s sovereign enablement of holiness does not contradict the act of duty; it creates it.

 Opens the eyes of the blind, it is the blind who see.
 Gives strength to withered legs, it is the lame who do the walking.
 Touches the ears of the deaf, it is the deaf who do the hearing.
 Calls Lazarus from the grave, it is Lazarus who walks out on his own two feet.
 Changes zacchaeus’s heart, it is zacchaeus who gives back fourfold what he had stolen.
 Fills you with compassion, it is you who exercises your will to feed the hungry and clothe the naked and visit the prison and take in the refugee.

 Gives you merciful humility, it is you who turns the other cheek.
 Inclines your heart to his word, it is you who gets out of bed early in the morning to read your bible.
 Gives you courage and love, it is you who shares Christ with your neighbor.
 Puts a generous spirit in you, you are the one who writes the extra check for the ministry of the church.
 Gives you a patient confidence in his timing, you are the one who drives the speed limit and stops at stop signs and buckles your seatbelt.
 Makes you content with his provision, it’s you who tells the truth on your tax returns.
 Makes his glory more satisfying than lust, it’s you who turns away from pornography.
 Gives you a sweet satisfaction in your future reward, you are the one who blesses your enemies and does not curse them.

God authors the miracle of sanctification and you act the miracle.

Heavenly Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ and by the blood of the lamb, any evil taskmasters set over me by the enemies (Pharaoh)to afflict and made my life bitter (exod.1:11,14),scatter by fire. For my God have heard my cry for help, he knows my sorrows (exod.3:7) I AM THAT I AM, JEHOVAH is His name (exod.3:14), the God of the Hebrews.
